Stop Hiding
No longer will I allow the past to rule MY now. I have decided to stop hiding behind the decisions that have tormented me and kept me from fully living. I have decided to stop hiding in shame and guilt and to no longer allow my past to take precedence in my now. I decide today to live boldly, unashamed, unapologetic, and in my truth. I decide today to not allow what other people say to carry more weight or any weight in my life. I am not dismissing or diminishing any choice I’ve made but I am dismissing the negative effects they have had on my life.
We all have made mistakes – no one is exempt. However, what I now know is this…God has forgiven me, and He loves me so who am I to allow anyone or myself to keep me in bondage. Everything I have gone through is MY STORY. The story I needed so I could see God’s glory. The story I needed to move me from here to there. I don’t know where there is, but I do know that as long as stay on the path God has set before me I will get there.
May you too embrace your story and stop hiding so God can reveal His glory to you. Stay on your path so you too can go from here to there. Allow yourself the freedom to live boldly and in God’s freedom. Allow yourself to BE…BE whole, BE healed, BE free!
God loves you so much and wants to be involved in your life. It’s hard to wrap our finite minds around His love but when you stop trying to understand it and just accept it then you can experience it. It is the greatest gift you can/will ever receive. My prayer is you accept and receive God’s love! God’s promises! God’s provision!
